As part of the 10 Days of Connection, #NAAAPMiami, #SoFloAsians & #SoFloFunFriends invite everyone to lunch with the intention to Connect Cultures through Cuisine (CCC). It’s DIM SUM time! DIM “Touch”. SUM “Heart”. “Touch the heart”.

Dim sum is a dining experience shared by friends, family and good Chinese style delicacies/pastries/sweets/appetizers/finger foods from north to south, east to west.

The Cantonese tradition of having endless cups of tea and dim sum is also called yum cha (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yum_cha) (飲茶), which means “drink tea” in Cantonese. The drinking of tea is as important to dim sum as the food. The type of tea to serve on the table is typically one of the first things the server asks dining customers. Several types of tea are served during dim sum :

You will also learn more about etiquette and the Do’s and Dont’s at the restaurant! RSVP as soon as you can because sitting is limited!
