Challenge Yourself To Connect
During the 10 Days of Connection, challenge yourself to connect across lines of difference. There are many ways to do that: share a meal with someone you wouldn’t normally cross paths with, read a book or watch a movie that highlights the beauty of connection, take part in #MiamiWalks to get to know a new neighborhood, etc.! Check out and RSVP to the many opportunities to connect below, and if you’d like to host a connection experience, learn more on the Host page!

Free Community Improv Workshop
May 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Join a free workshop for people of any and all experiences or backgrounds to come and collaborate in a variety of improvisational exercises and games.
The workshop naturally facilitates engagement as new faces are paired or grouped up together and with experienced players to work through any given improv scene. It doesn’t matter your age, race, religion, socio-economic or political backgrounds when you’re pretending to be a T-Rex and a bowl of applesauce going on a blind-date on the Moon!
Accessibility: To make this event as accessible as possible to individuals of all different abilities and needs, the following accommodations will be provided: accessibility for anyone with mobility issues and moveable seating for people with disabilities
Upon request, they can provide hosts at the door to assist attendees that require special services. Unfortunately, American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will not be available at the event (but if you’d like to volunteer, reach out!). For questions or in need of additional accommodations, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 24 hours in advance of the event.
