Challenge Yourself To Connect
During the 10 Days of Connection, challenge yourself to connect across lines of difference. There are many ways to do that: share a meal with someone you wouldn’t normally cross paths with, read a book or watch a movie that highlights the beauty of connection, take part in #MiamiWalks to get to know a new neighborhood, etc.! Check out and RSVP to the many opportunities to connect below, and if you’d like to host a connection experience, learn more on the Host page!

Free Workplace Violence!
May 10 @ 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Following our working place violence – active shooter training seminar, Pinkerton intends to host a reception for 200 guests. A diverse group of community leaders have been invited, including C-Suite Executives, Chief’s of Police, Faith-Based Leaders and Public Officials.
The idea is to break out into different groups to provide an opportunity for follow-on dialogue regarding the subject matter, but to also foster more intimate, cross-community “connection experiences” for the attendees.
Getting to know each other is key to organically improve security awareness and preparedness at public and private institutions across the area.
Accessibility: Pinkerton seeks to make this event as accessible as possible to individuals of all different abilities and needs and will provide the following accommodations: accessibility for anyone with mobility issues, moveable seating for people with disabilities, hosts at the door to assist attendees that require special services and accessible documents for people with visual impairments.
For questions or in need of additional accommodations, please send an email to Keith.Noble@pinkerton.com at least 24 hours in advance of the event.
